Celebrating April with 30 Free Financial Education Resource Profiles
Did you know that April was Financial Capability Month in Pennsylvania? The Making Cents Project, a collaborative effort of the Pennsylvania Department of Education and Penn State University, has been celebrating by profiling a K-12 financial education resource each day this month. The entire series is available at http://www.makingcentspa.org/read/. Check it out and/or file it away to review as you prepare for next year. The resources range from lesson plans and curriculum to digital interactives and simulation. Best of all – each one is free of charge to teachers and schools!
If you or your school would like assistance reviewing financial education materials or re-vamping your financial education efforts, reach out to the project’s coordinator, Hilary Hunt, at hilary@makingcentspa.org. You can also sign up for a quarterly e-blasts here or view archived webinars at http://www.makingcentspa.org/learn/#webinar.
