FREE ESL Home Healthcare Aide class

Please review the information below with changes to acceptance requirements and clarifications about this terrific opportunity for ESL learners with an interest in home healthcare!
Class meets Mondays-Fridays, 9:00am-1:00pm, beginning mid-October 2016; 12-week program.
Students must:
–Be Pennsylvania residents
–Have no felonies or disqualifying misdemeanors
–Have high 5th grade reading results on the CASAS English assessment test
–Have satisfactory medical clearance
–Pass interview process for oral and written proficiency
–Be legally permitted to work in the U.S. (have a social security number)
— high school diploma or GED preferred but not required
Interested parties must register for an assessment test:
- September 27 at 8:30am
- September 29 at 12pm
- October 3 at 12pm
- October 4 at 8:30am
- October 6 at 4pm
