Free PD for High School Biology Teachers and Middle School Life Science Teachers
The University of Pennsylvania Biology Department is sponsoring a Zoom PD for high school biology teachers and middle school science teachers on Saturday, April 25, 9-12 AM. Our PD will include:
- How Some Wild Animals Protect Human Health
- Food and Climate Change – How can we feed the growing world population without increasing global warming?
- Coral Reef Ecosystems in a Changing Climate, a talk by Dr. Katie Barrott, Associate Professor of Biology, University of Pennsylvania
If you plan to participate, please register by filling out this form at by Thursday, April 23.
We will provide Act 48 credits for all participating Pennsylvania teachers. Out-of-state teachers can get a message verifying their participation.
We hope you will share this information with other teachers who may be interested. Please encourage interested teachers to sign up for our PD listserv so they will receive subsequent announcements. You can sign up here for the listserv; please give a reason for signing up (so we will know you are a real person and not an automated program).
