Philadelphia Works & Community College of Philadelphia Offer Free Career Training for In-Demand Occupations
Community College of Philadelphia (CCP), in partnership with Philadelphia Works, received a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration to offer career training programs through the Micro-Credentials Opportunity and Stackable Achievements program.
This free career training with stackable micro-credentials showcases a job-seekers’ specific skills, knowledge, and experience to potential employers. Credentials can come in the form of certificates or badges. All program areas will begin with 21st Century Skills training such as computer literacy, workplace essentials, core communication, ACT national career readiness, and orientation to careers.
