Free Art and Writing Workshop For Girls in Grades 7-12
Calling all makers… daughters, sisters, coders, scientists, artists, crafters, poets, musicians, dancers, athletes, collaborators, designers, friends, confidants, superstars.
The Girls on Fire, Philadelphia, workshop series is something you don’t want to miss… We have some exciting partners: The Philadelphia Youth Poetry Movement, La Salle University Multicultural Life, Bryn Mawr College Student Life, U School Girls Poetry and Spoken Word Club and Teen Author and Illustrator Maya Anderson.
The workshop is co-organized by Peggy Marie Savage to inspire young ladies create art and writing and to polish submissions for the 2015 Scholastic Awards
Girls on Fire is a project supported by the Philadelphia Writing Project, with additional funding provided by the 2014 BMe Award and Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity at the University of Pennsylvania.
When: Saturday, November 15, 10 AM – 2:30 PM
