Fourth Annual Institute on Global Service-Learning
June 9-10, 2011
Pace University
The Global Service Learning Institute provides a forum to advance the understanding of global service-learning pedagogy, theory, program models, institutional support and scholarship. More universities and colleges sponsor international service and service-learning opportunities for their students every year. This Institute is designed as an opportunity for faculty, administrators and practitioners involved in leading these programs to discuss and learn about the ways in which these programs impact our community-partners, as well as our students. The Institute seeks to foster greater collaboration and dialogue among participants who are interested in advancing global service-learning theory and practice.
Cosponsored by Cornell Public Service Center, Cornell Study Abroad Office, Cornell Center for Teaching Excellence Pace University Provost Office and New York Campus Compact
