FOUNDATIONS, Inc. is looking for creative and energetic individuals to work in our Philadelphia, area afterschool programs. The following positions are open in our S. Philadelphia, Mt. Airy, Mantua, and NE Philadelphia sites:
Teachers: Must have a minimum of a AA degree in ECE, Education or Social Sciences; at least 2 yrs. experience working with school age children in a classroom setting. Candidates should have experience planning lessons and academic activities.
Asst. Teachers: Must have at least 2 years experience working with children in an educational setting. Experience with arts and recreational activities a plus.

***A quick note to let you know that Foundations and some its charter schools are looking for part time staff, especially for afterschool programs. They’re looking for people to teach around 3 hrs/day in the afterschool programs, paying $15 -$17/hour, in various sites. They also need a couple of part time elementary teachers — 20 student classrooms, paired with aide, elementary level.***
