PA senator sponsors two foreclosure prevention workshops
Pennsylvania Sen. Leanna Washington will hold two workshops on foreclosures in May, one in Montgomery County and one in Philadelphia.
The first Foreclosure Information Night – for Montgomery County residents – will be held on Friday, May 10th from 5:30pm until 8pm in the Mirror and Rose Rooms at Arcadia University’s Castle Building.
Representatives from Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania, the “Don’t Borrow Trouble” Hotline and the bankruptcy court will discuss Montgomery County’s foreclosure process; the Pennsylvania Housing and Finance Agency will discuss HEMAP; Regional Housing Legal Services will discuss how they can help residents stay in their homes; and, a housing counselor will discuss loss mitigation programs.
The second Foreclosure Information Night – for Philadelphia residents – will be held on Thursday, May 30th from 5-9pm at the Mt. Airy Church of God in Christ.
At the Philadelphia event, representatives from the “Save Your Home Philly” Hotline and the bankruptcy court will discuss foreclosure process; the Pennsylvania Housing and Finance Agency will discuss HEMAP; Regional Housing Legal Services will discuss how they can help residents stay in their homes; and, a housing counselor will discuss loss mitigation programs.
