Food workshops for kids

Food Nerd is very excited to be a part of The Culinary Literacy Center’s programming for Summer 2015 at the Free Library of Philadelphia. In the coming months, we will be offering extended versions of our Mushroom and Entomophagy workshops for kids entering grades 2-6. Each workshop offers kids plenty of opportunities to explore different foods (or bugs as food!) with Food Nerd Jr.’s signature engaging and hands-on approach. For those of you already familiar with these workshops, our extended versions will add extra fun with a surprise guest and some interesting treats.
Mushroom Mania runs Monday, July 20 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and is open to kids going into 2nd through 3rd grades. Insectivore! is being held on Monday, July 27 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for kids going into 4th through 6th grades.
