Food Stamp Project Coordinator
Energetic and creative individual to manage development and implementation of Food Stamp Participation Project, a research-based program to increase participation in the Food Stamp Program in Delaware and Montgomery counties. Responsibilities include education and training of community health workers, development and oversight of the project’s educational interventions, development and maintenance of relationships with partner agencies, oversight of the tracking of interventions and Food Stamp Program applications, and coordination of all other aspects of this program.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred in social work, public health, nutrition or related field. Qualified individuals will also have at least 2 years of program or staff development experience, knowledge of public policies and benefits and an interest in maternal and child health and well-being. Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team required. Driver’s license and transportation required.
