Food Stamp Pre-Screening Tool On Line

Families can now find out if they are eligible for food stamps and apply online!
PHENND is partnering with the Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger in the Philadelphia Food Stamp Outreach Campaign. This campaign targets low-income, working families who might be eligible for food stamps but are not currently enrolled in the program. Over the summer months, students from local colleges will be doing outreach and screening families for food stamps at sites citywide.
You can help us spread the word to Philadelphia residents! There are over 104,000 people who are eligible for food stamps but are not enrolled. This amounts to millions of federal dollars that the city is losing.
Try Pennyslvania?s new online screening tool. Households can use the COMPASS system to determine how much money they could receive in food stamps benefits each month! You can even apply for food stamps online. You can access the online screening tool and application at:
