Fit for Life Foundation Welcomes Proposals That Address Healthy Aging – Nov 23
Posted by Fit for Life Foundation on November 3, 2020
Every year, the Fit for Life Foundation awards grants of $100,000 to three nonprofit organizations or social enterprises that are pioneering projects aimed at promoting lifelong fitness and health.
The mission and activities of the organization or initiative must directly address healthy aging for older (65+ years) or middle-aged people (45+ years). The foundation welcomes solutions related to physical fitness, exercise and sport, mental well-being, mobility, nutrition, at-home care, community support for older people, prevention of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and/or other forms of preventative health support.
To be eligible for a Fit for Life award, applicants must be legally registered as a nonprofit or social enterprise in its country/countries of operations. The foundation will not consider applications from research institutes, government/public-sector institutes, political organizations, or organizations that discriminate in their leadership, staffing, or service provision on the basis of age, gender, race, ethnicity, disability, national origin, political affiliation, religious belief or sexual orientation. Applications from organizations anywhere in the world will be considered.
Applications are due by November 23, and the FFL award winners will be announced in early 2021.
