College Graduates Stay in Philadelphia
Campus Philly, a non-profit organization focused on enhancing Philadelphia’s image as a college town for students and post-graduates, announced the findings of their recent survey: more college students are remaining in Philadelphia after they graduate. Since 2004, Philadelphia has seen a rise in its retention of college students post-graduation from 29 percent to 48 percent in 2010. Reasons cited for the increase include greater participation by college students in community engagement activities and the vibrancy of the city. Click here to view the full report.
