Financing Community Health Centers Capacity Building Training

The CDFI Fund and Opportunity Finance Network (OFN) invite certified CDFIs interested in financing community health centers (CHCs) to apply to the CDFI Fund’s Financing Community Health Centers Capacity Building Initiative training workshop that will be held in Boston, MA on May 1-2. The free two-day training is for CDFIs to launch or expand their lending to CHCs.

Each training workshop will provide the same content focused on:

·        Trends in health care and the role of CHCs
·        Defining the CHC landscape and CHC operational structures
·        Credit needs of CHCs and sources of capital
·        Underwriting CHCs

If you are unable to attend the Boston training on May 1-2, the same material will be offered at the following workshops:

·        May 21-22: Chicago, IL
·        July 30-31: Portland, OR

The trainings will provide a foundation for CDFIs to access up to 40 hours of free one-to-one technical assistance from our roster of industry experts, as well as to participate in affinity groups that will be organized based on topics.
