Financial Smarts Seminars
Fall 2009 Schedule
Attend one of Consumer Credit Counseling Service’s (CCCS) Seminars and gain control of your finances! CCCS is a non-profit service that has provided credit, budgeting and housing counseling, debt management programs and credit education to the Greater Philadelphia area since 1966.
Saturday, November 21st • 10:00-12:00pm “Build Wealth not Debt”
Financial security does not happen overnight, it is a process of learning how to use the financial resources at your disposal to create sustainable wealth. Think about this when you use your cash or credit, are you
helping to enhance the financial well being of you and your family, or are you building a debt trap? This
workshop is designed to help you understand the difference.
Saturday, December 19th • 10:00-12:00pm “All About Credit”
This comprehensive workshop is designed to show participants how to use credit responsibly. They learn
that credit can be a wealth creation tool and are shown how to analyze their debt-load to determine how
much and the type of debt they can assume. The differences between good debt and bad debt are
emphasized as well as strategies to protect and improve their credit report.
