In this position you will be responsible for the following duties:

Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages and related budget data for internal and external customers. Analyze monthly close statements; compare actual costs to plan costs; and investigate any variances. Prepare detailed ad hoc financial reports for management and external agencies. Recommend improvements to existing reports and related processes. Develop and document standard financial reporting by integrating data from operation and financial systems. Standardize report layouts and distribution. May assist in the implementation of new financial systems. Assist with the testing of financial data for system upgrades. Consolidate financial information and provide detail analysis for the annual budget. Assist with budget import or entry and initiate budget transfers and amendments to ensure that budget information is accurate in the accounting system. Assist Controller with updates to policy and procedural manuals. Handle special projects as requested by CFO, Controller and/or Directors.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field, with a minimum
3-4 years experience in the area of finance or accounting. Familiarity with Chart of Accounts, Financial Statement preparation and budgeting and forecasting.

Must be able to work with large data sets in MS Excel using pivot tables, graphing functions and advanced formulas; advanced MS Excel is required. Must be able to work extended hours during critical periods. Must be detail oriented with the ability to present data in a clear, concise and well formatted fashion. Must have strong presentation skills and experience with MS Power Point.
