Financial Literacy Train-the-Trainers

The program will consist of a Train-the-Trainers of the MoneyWise Curriculum. The session is 8 hours long and will be offered twice:
Friday, November 19, 8 AM – 4 PM (in English)
or
Satruday, November 20, 8 AM – 4 PM (in Spanish)
MoneyWise
A joint financial education project of Consumer Action and Capital One
MoneyWise Financial Education Program focuses on 6 key personal finance topics on a training CD:
* Building and Keeping Good Credit
* Rebuilding Good Credit
* Manage your Money Wisely
* Banking Basics
* Personal Bankruptcy
* Talking to Teens About Money
For each topic has printed pamphlet for distribution to clients and the public. They are available in in Chinese, English, Korean, Spanish, and Vietnamese
A printed Leaders Guide to provide background for staff and trainers.
A teaching package for a two part seminar that includes suggested approaches to class presentations as well as activities.
PowerPoint classroom and train the trainer slides.
Continental breakfast and lunch provided.
The MoneyWise program is intend to be use by community-based or non-profit education purposes, however Commercial entities can seek permission to use it from Consumer Action.

This event is for: Nonprofit staff, advocacates, and volunteers who are interested in doing financial education with community members.

? Maneje su Dinero Prudentemente
? Informaci?n B?sica Sobre Bancos
? Declaraci?n de Bancarrota Personal
? Habl?ndole a los Adolescentes sobre el Dinero
Cada uno de los temas tiene un folleto para ser distribuidos a los clientes y al p?blico en general. Los folletos est?n publicados en chino, ingl?s, coreano, espa?ol y vietnam?s.
Una Gu?a para los Presentadores para proporcionar informaci?n de fondo al personal y a los entrenadores.
Un paquete de ense?anza para un seminario de dos partes que incluye sugerencias sobre como dirigir la presentaci?n de la clase, as? tambi?n como actividades.
Presentaci?n en PowerPoint y diapositivas de Entrenamiento del Entrenador.
