Financial responsibility curriculum now available in English and Spanish
An online curriculum on financial responsibility released by America’s Promise Alliance, in partnership with the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, is now available in Spanish.
The curriculum was designed to teach youth in middle and early high school about financial responsibility in their homes and communities. Called Ahorremo$ Para el Futuro: Un Programa de Responsibilidad Financiera Para Jóvenes, the translated curriculum is the Spanish-language version of $aving Our Futures: A Financial Responsibility Program for Young People.
Designed as a companion to the critically acclaimed documentary about problems with the U.S. economy, I.O.U.S.A. (http://www.iousathemovie.com/), the curriculums can be used during or after school and provides many opportunities for quality service-learning projects.
