Posted by Clarifi on June 22, 2021
Do you have significant experience in the Financial Education industry? Do friends and family consider you knowledgeable about all things personal finance? Do you like working with people to provide financial insight? Are you outgoing, positive, with a high-energy mindset? Are you comfortable working independently, accountable and goal–oriented?
As a Financial Counselor, you take ownership of providing high quality financial counseling and coaching for participants in the CareerLink program experiencing career transitions or the loss of employment. You may engage people in activities across a wide spectrum including building credit, savings, debt reduction, first-time home ownership, mortgage default and delinquency, and home equity. Responsibilities include discussing and delivering options, making recommendations on debt, credit, assets and banking issues. You will create a realistic action plan for clients to achieve their goals. Through effective communications, you will help each client understand the role they play in the success of the plan. You will likely thrive in this opportunity if you have a passion for and commitment to social service, especially to low income and financially distressed individuals.
