Film Screening of Citizen George: Co-Creating a Pathway to Social Justice: The Transformative Power of Courage and Compassion – Mar 16

Join the Social Justice Initiative (SJI) for a film screening of Citizen George followed by a brief Q&A, hosted by the Bryn Mawr Film Institute! Citizen George is a documentary that “presents the life and work of Philadelphia-based Quaker activist George Lakey, a non-violent revolutionary who has worked his entire life for justice and peace, guided by his ideal of societal transformation.”
After the screening, George Lakey will engage in Q&A with the audience, facilitated by the SJI. The theme of the evening will be Courage and Compassion, one of the Four Pathways of the SJI. Learn more about the documentary here, and register here for the event.
