Film: Raising of America
Posted by Public Citizens for Children and Youth on October 26, 2015
The Raising of America film is a documentary series that explores the question: Why are so many children in America faring so poorly? What are the consequences for our future? How might we, as a city, state and nation, do better? We will view the brief docu-mentary together and discuss afterwards.
This FREE event is a collaboration between Jefferson College of Population Health, Public Citizens for Children and Youth and The Coalition Against Hunger. We are working together to raise awareness about the state of our children’s well-being and health during their most important developmental years. Refreshments will be served and admission is FREE but a healthy food donation for local food pantries is highly encouraged.
