Please join us for the screening of The Olmsted Legacy, a one-hour documentary that examines the formation of America’s first great city parks in the late 19th century through the enigmatic eyes of Frederick Law Olmsted, who brought expansive green spaces to dozens of U.S. cities, including Philadelphia.
The screening will be followed by a VIP Reception with the film’s producer, Rebecca Messner, to explore where Olmsted’s legacy stands now and the role that his ideas and urban parks play in our communities today.
100% of the net proceeds will support the ongoing improvements of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
For additional information, please contact Michelle Nicoletto at 215-988-8762 or [email protected].
