When: Saturday October 3rd, 2009
Where: 8th & Berks Streets (2 Blocks from Temple U. SEPTA rail station)
Festival Verde is an environmental fair designed to engage North Philadelphia residents in ‘green’ lifestyles. It is our goal that every element of the fair will provide visitors with practical information and tools that will have a direct, immediate, and positive impact on their lives. Visitors will learn gardening and tree planting techniques and about the benefits of recycling among other family-friendly activities.
Festival Verde is produced by APM, LISC and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. For more information visit http://www.festivalverde2009.com or call 215.235.6070.
