CAISE Fellows Program
The CAISE Fellows Program aims to broaden participation by and build capacity of professionals in informal science education (ISE) who are from underrepresented groups and regions of the United States. Fellows participate in CAISE Inquiry Groups and ongoing professional development. In line with the vision and mission of CAISE, the program recruits and selects candidates from across the sectors of ISE, thereby creating professional cohorts with a broad diversity of strong voices. In addition to participating in Inquiry Group work and monthly telephone meetings, CAISE Fellows are supported with travel stipends to attend the biennial ISE Summit, where they can network and learn from current principal investigators of NSF ISE grants.
The second cohort of CAISE Fellows is now being recruited. Visit http://caise.insci.org/news/7/51/CAISE-Fellows-Program/d,Program-Item-Detail to learn more, or contact Laura Huerta Migus, CAISE Fellows advisor. The deadline is May 8, 2009.
