Adult literacy agency in Philadelphia seeks a part-time Family Literacy Assistant to support the delivery of quality educational services within family literacy programs in Philadelphia.
Candidate should show the ability to assist in the monitoring of program performance; collect and monitor data and produce monthly statistical reports; attend appropriate state and local trainings and meetings; communicate with family literacy sites about data entry, meetings, site visits, and other necessary communications; and assist in the planning of project-wide events.
High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor?s Degree preferred. Experience in working with a variety of computer programs required including word processing, databases and spreadsheet systems (i.e., Word, Access, FileMaker Pro, Excel), facility with e-mail and the Internet, and the ability to work well in team situations. Driver?s license and ability to travel required. Knowledge of the Philadelphia literacy community preferred.
