Family Empowerment Services Case Manager
Congreso de Latinos Unidos, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Family Empowerment Services (FES) Case Manager to work within the Family and Housing Services Division. The FES Case
Manager will handle those cases referred by schools, in-house Congreso referrals or walk-ins by an individual or family seeking assistance. Services are geared toward providing social and structural supports that will strengthen families and prevent entry or re-entry into the child welfare system. The FES Case Manger will work directly under the supervision of the FES Coordinator or FES Program Manager.

Essential Responsibilities
Provide in home services to at-risk families or individuals no less than twice a month or as needed
Provide Case Management services (crisis intervention, advocacy, family assessment and planning)
Develop service plans for clients and families
Ability to professionally safeguard sensitive and confidential information/data of clients
Maintain up-to-date client files and input client records into DHS and agency databases
Regularly attend and participate in staff meetings, supervision, staff trainings and case reviews
Ability to work outside of normal business hours to accommodate clients when necessary
24 hours on-call availability to respond to and support family emergencies
Minimum Qualifications
2-3 years of case management experience providing supportive services to community members
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related social science field
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English / Spanish)
Experience working with TANF recipients
Familiarity with the North/Eastern North Philadelphia community and surrounding resources
