Posted by Aspen Institute on October 29, 2024
As recently highlighted by the US Surgeon General, pressure on parents and caregivers is at a boiling point, with ramifications for the well-being of families and the future of the economy. Ascend at the Aspen Institute will host a conversation with Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su and Aspen Institute Vice President Anne Mosle to discuss the critical links between supporting caregivers, building more prosperous families, and driving economic growth, drawing on learnings from Ascending with Parents: A Guide to Centering Parent Voice in Policy and Practice and the Department of Labor’s insights.
This event will take place at the Holeman Lounge at the National Press Club on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, 2:30 PM and will also be livestreamed.
