Olney Recreation Center and Tacony Creek Park
Volunteer to help clean and green Olney Recreation Center and Tacony Creek Park on Saturday, October 4.
A free t-shirt and lunch will be provided for all participants while supplies last. Registration begins at 8 am at the Olney Recreation Center, located at the corner of Spencer and A streets in Northeast Philadelphia. The workday begins at 9 am and concludes at noon, lunch to follow. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Parks Revitalization Project. Since 1993, Philadelphia Green has worked with the City of Philadelphia and volunteer “Friends of the Park” groups to transform run-down city parks into verdant green spaces and centers of community life. We thank all of our partners for their amazing work and hope that you will help us celebrate on October 4th!
Register to volunteer. Call 215-988-8876 or email [email protected].
