Philadelphia Cares is inviting all concerned community members to come out and learn about the environmental and health issues facing Fairmount Park, and to have a positive impact on its future! You will learn the environmental history of Cobbs Creek Park, a Philadelphia treasure, and how the park affects community health and development. After a conversation and tour, you will have the opportunity to work with a hands on service project. Andrew Brazington, Environmental Corps Coordinator at the Cobbs Creek Community Environmental Education Center, will be leading this exciting service learning experience. Families are welcome to participate. We hopt to see you there!
