Facing the School Dropout Dilemma
The Office of Children, Youth and Families of the American Psychological Association has released an issue brief Facing the School Dropout Dilemma highlighting new research on child development, early childhood education, and social and emotional learning that helps to define the school dropout issue. The brief profiles racial/ethnic minorities, low-income groups, lesbian, gay and transgender students, and students with disabilities.
