Have you ever attended a great training and thought to yourself, “I wish I could facilitate like that?” OR have you attended a meeting that seemed to go nowhere and thought, “Someone needs to take charge and move things along!”
During this gathering we will actively explore tried and true facilitation techniques you can practice to gain confidence and skill as a facilitator. We will discuss how to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty and how to engage even the most reluctant participants.
This gathering will be particularly helpful to people who have never had formal facilitation training and those interested in practicing their skills and receiving constructive, real-time feedback.
Time: 6:00-8:30 p.m.
Cost: $20 in advance; $25-30 sliding scale at the door. Alumni of Blue Door Train-the-Trainer Series AND students with valid id: $15
Pizza will be provided.
Location: Christ Church Neighborhood House, 20 N. American St. (Center City, Philadelphia)
Facilitated by: Sarvelia Peralta-Duran and The Blue Door Group partners
