Executive TechTalk Seminar
Posted by on April 2, 2004
Summit Collaborative is partnering once again with NPower Pennsylvania, the LaSalle Nonprofit Center, and Reed Smith to bring you 3 more Exec TechTalk programs.
The first Spring 2004 Session in Phildelphia will fill up fast:
Grantseeking Strategy & Proposal Writing for Technology
Thursday April 29 8:30-11:30am
Register online at http://www.summitcollaborative.com/ett_reg_pa.html
This session was so popular during the Fall 2003 series, we are running it again. It is designed to help nonprofits effectively articulate to funders why they need to use advanced technology. In this session, we’ll review current trends in technology-related grantmaking and discuss ways to effectively write and pitch proposals.
Attendees at last Fall’s session commented on what they would begin to do differently:
” We’ll begin to talk differently about organization’s needs-amongst ourselves and in our proposals.”
” The learning from this workshop will help us to prioritize our grant needs and better match them with funding sources.”
” We’ll start putting the emphasis on programs and how they can be improved with technology rather than the other way around.”
The cost is $50 per session, per person. Special! Register and pay for all 3 sessions by April 28 and pay only $135.
The other topics for the Spring series are:
Strategic Use of Outlook
Wednesday May 19th 8:30-11:30am
If you or your colleagues use Microsoft Outlook then this Exec TechTalk session is for you. Participants will learn how to improve relationships with members, clients or other constituents, improve collaboration between staff and effectively management files and other information in powerful new ways.
Pick the Low Hanging Fruit: Free and Low Cost Nonprofit Technology Tools
Thursday, June 17th 8:30-11:30am
Nonprofits today have access to an incredible array of free and low cost technology tools and web-based information resources. We call these – ‘low hanging fruit’ – since it is relatively easy for nonprofits to jump in and use them without significant risk or expenditure of resources and time. Come learn about the tools and what you need to do to effectively integrate them into your organization’s work.
All sessions will take place at:
