Executive Director, Turning Points for Children

Turning Points for Children (TPFC) provides an array of health and social services aimed at keeping families together and helping them succeed. With over 650 staff working in 6 sites throughout Philadelphia, programs include foster care and adoption, youth residential services, parenting education and support, food and nutrition services, and community engagement.

The Executive Director’s responsibilities encompass providing visionary leadership that aligns with PHMC’s strategic objectives, day-to-day administrative, programmatic, operational and fiscal management of Turning Points for Children in partnership with PHMC leadership; including: strategic development, programmatic and fiscal oversight of a $60M budget, innovative and integrative social service program development, entrepreneurial growth, and maintaining and developing positive relationships with funders, government officials, community leaders, and health and human service providers. The Executive Director represents PHMC’s mission and vision at local and regional public health, social service and other community events. The Executive Director provides oversight of PHMC subsidiary, Turning Points for Children, and works with the TPFC Board and PHMC’s Strategy and Development team to conduct strategic planning, ensure and manage agency growth, and conduct specialized marketing and revenue-generating activities.
