Executive Director, Sunrise Foundation
Posted by on January 28, 2013
The Sunrise Foundation is a small, 501©3 organization operating educational and social programs in Camoapa, Nicaragua. Camoapa is a small, rural community in the central highlands of Nicaragua, the second poorest country in the western hemisphere. These programs serve children living in extreme poverty, providing education and critical social support. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management of the agency and its programs in accordance with the policies set by the Board of Directors and both U.S. and Nicaraguan law. The Executive Director will lead the Sunrise Foundation in envisioning and developing the organization’s long-term sustainability. The first priority will be to develop a financial base of support. The Sunrise Foundation is U.S. based, but does not have a central office. The Executive Director can be based anywhere in the US, but will split time between the U.S. and Camoapa, Nicaragua.
