Rebuilding Together Philadelphia – Executive Director.
Rebuilding Together Philadelphia (RTP), a volunteer-driven organization that makes essential repairs for low-income homeowners in Philadelphia’s most fragile neighborhoods, is seeking an Executive Director.
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, self-directed, energetic, flexible, and creative. The individual should also be a collaborator with the ability to engage a diverse group of stakeholders; a leader who can positively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives; and a strong manager with excellent team-building skills and the ability to determine new approaches to enhance program impact, operational efficiency, and organizational development.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (an advanced degree is strongly preferred); a minimum of five years’ management experience with strong understanding of the nonprofit sector and working in partnership with boards of directors; experience in fund raising and nonprofit fiscal management and planning; Experience in conducting marketing and publicity campaigns; Experience in developing community partnerships and collaborations. Strong existing relationships with civic, business, and community leaders is preferred and knowledge of housing and construction is preferable, but not required.
