Playworks – Executive Director
Playworks, a national nonprofit that provides safe, healthy play and physical activity to low-income schools and helps create a positive environment for learning and teaching, is seeking a Philadelphia Executive Director.
The Philadelphia Executive Director is responsible for managing all aspects of the program in Philadelphia, including the management of Playworks’ comprehensive school-based programming at eight schools and hiring, managing and developing a vibrant team of up to 10 program staff people. The position will be responsible for the financial sustainability and growth of the program by engaging various funding sources, increasing the number of school partnerships and delivering excellent Playworks programs for schools throughout the local districts.
