AUTHORITY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR—the Montgomery County Redevelopment Authority (RDA) seeks a dynamic, skilled, and experienced leader to serve as its Executive Director (ED). This person is responsible for overseeing all operations: reporting to a five-member Board, managing a staff of two, and working with the Solicitor and consultants in the fields of planning, environmental engineering, and finance. The ED applies for and administers more than $50 million annually in financing and grant programs and interacts with area businesses and the County to assist with startup, expansion, and relocation opportunities. Specific experience in redevelopment activities is not a requirement; the ultimate candidate is bright, engaging, experienced in some forms of public and/or private sector financing, and possesses an innovative energy toward economic development. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to network with different public and private sector stakeholders and companies to promote RDA programs. Salary range up to $150,000 with excellent employer-paid benefits; actual salary commensurate with experience/qualifications.
