Executive Director
The Organization:Established in 1889, The College Settlement of Philadelphia – College Settlement Camp, (CSC), is a social service agency which provides traditional summer resident and day camp experiences for economically disadvantaged children from the metropolitan Philadelphia area. The Camp is an independent private nonprofit agency. There is an affiliate relationship with the Henry J. and Willemina B. Kuhn Day Camp and the Outdoor School in Horsham.
The Position:
With the pending retirement of the present Executive Director (ED), the Board of Directors is in search of a new ED. The full time role of the ED is to execute policies established by the Board of Trustees. The position is responsible for the overall supervision, administration, coordination and execution of all aspects of the operation and business of the Camps. This includes but is not limited to maintaining high professional standards, developing, submitting and monitoring an annual budget, fund development, public relations, human resources, program operations, and maintaining the physical plant.
Experience:
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in camp administration, non-profit management, business management, or related field of study. A minimum of 5 years in professional and/or non-profit management and supervision is required. Demonstrated experience in the management of a corporation with complete responsibility for all aspects of the corporation must be evident. Candidate must possess superior management skills, strong written and communication skills, and a proven track record of achievement.

Salary:
The Camp Director’s salary will be commensurate with experience.
