Cloud 9 Community Farms is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit with a mission to foster leadership, resilience, and environmental stewardship through youth and community-led food and garden programs. You can learn more about our programs and history via our recently relaunched website.

Cloud 9 is seeking an Executive Director (ED), as the organization’s founding director is moving out of state. We are searching for an inventive, collaborative, and strategic leader who will support Cloud 9’s current programs, future growth, and build a diversified and sustainable funding portfolio while strengthening partnerships in the region. As the public face of Cloud 9, the ED communicates the organization’s mission, vision, and initiatives to the public, funders, and community.

Cloud 9’s implementation of a servant-leadership model means the Executive Director’s biggest responsibility is to provide support for staff and volunteers in developing and executing programs and initiatives.

This position is anticipated to be quarter-time with an annual salary of $10,000 with ample opportunities to grow both time and salary commitments. Some weekend and evening hours are required. The position entails a combination of office, community engagement, limited farm work, and networking and fundraising events.
