Breakthrough of Greater Philadelphia
Executive Director

Breakthrough of Greater Philadelphia is seeking an executive director.  The organization provides a six-year academic enrichment program that builds a path from middle school to college for low income students from the city’s public schools.  It also trains talented high school and college students to become educators and engaged citizens by giving them responsibility for teaching in the program. The organization operates programs at three sites that serve children from Germantown, West Philadelphia, North Philadelphia, and Olney – serving approximately 300 students and 100 intern teachers per year.

To apply, email a cover letter, resume and salary history to Judy Hughes (judyh@gfsnet.org) or mail to her attention at Germantown Friends School, 31 West Coulter Street, Philadelphia, PA 19144. The cover letter must specifically and convincingly explain why you are interested in the Breakthrough mission and why you would be a good match for this position.  For the full job announcement, go here.
