The Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia (AVP) is searching for an Executive Director.
Founded over 30 years ago, AVP is a unique social service non-profit organization that assists victims and their families to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of violence and also helps children and youth resolve conflict nonviolently. The Executive Director will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated Board of Directors and will be relied upon heavily to provide strategic direction and visionary leadership over the organization’s programs.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years relevant experience with at least 5 years in project and personnel management. The successful candidate will also have a demonstrated ability in directing strategic fundraising and advocacy efforts. Experience in project and personnel management, creating budgets, fiscal oversight, and grant-writing is required. A strong business orientation is essential along with the ability to perform in a social service non-profit environment. A graduate degree in social work, education, sociology, psychology, law or human services or a similar field is required.
Compensation consists of a market based salary, depending on experience, and includes an attractive benefits program.
