Excellent salary and benefit package depending upon the applicant having the requisite qualifications and experience. Employment is contingent upon completion of the PA State Mandated Reporter Training. Starting salary is negotiable from $90,000.00, DOQ/E. Will oversee staff of 23 FT and 30 PT at both main and branch locations, a budget of approximately $3 million, and a collection of 146,000. The position requires MLS and prefers a minimum of seven years of managerial experience with a high level of financial responsibility, including three years as an Executive Director. This position delivers specific library services at the direction of Library Board of Trustees and is responsible to the Township Manager for effectively managing the operations of the Library, assuring compliance with all laws, including the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Township ordinances, policies, processes, guidance documents, procedures and relevant contracts. The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of library operations to efficiently and effectively serve the public’s needs. The Board of Trustees is seeking a candidate with proven abilities to lead, innovate, recommend policy, and work productively with other Township agencies and community organizations, and with excellent people, technical, written, and social skills.
