Description
- The Executive Administrator will support the Chief Executive Officer in all administrative functions.
- The Executive Administrator helps the CEO manage the internal operations of the organization, including departmental collaboration, Board and organizational administrative support, tracking key performance indicators for the organization’s impact and progress, problem-solving any challenges that may arise, and maintaining consistency of communication.
- The Executive Administrator must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
- The Executive Administrator will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Essential Functions
- Act as Primary Board Liaison on behalf of the CEO and Leadership Team.
- Handle communication with all Board and committee members.
- Schedule meetings, draft agendas, take meeting minutes, prepare materials, and activate follow-up items.
- Draft and distribute Board resolutions, and update Board Resolution, Master List.
- Manage Board orientations for new Board members.
- Coordinate placement and orientation of Board Fellows.
- Manages administration and scheduling of ERM process.
