Penn Asian Senior Services – Exec. Asst. and Grantwriter
Penn Asian Senior Services, a non-profit homecare and training organization based in Jenkintown, seeks an Executive Assistant & Grant Writer. The Executive Assistant & Grant Writer will be working closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors, and serve as the primary staff person responsible for grant writing and other fund raising activities of the agency.
Job duties include but are not limited to: providing administrative support to the Executive Director; identifying funding sources; preparing and submitting high quality grant proposals/reports in a timely manner; developing and maintaining relationships with funders and potential funders; maintaining and updating grant schedule; planning and coordinating annual fundraising events; maintaining donor database and filing system for grants; managing correspondence. In addition, he/she will also provide assistance during meeting of the Board of Directors.
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree, at least 2 years of grant writing experience, excellent computer skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
This is a full time position, with competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, and benefits package.
