The Alabama Brawl (2025), directed by William Eric Anderson, is a 50-minute documentary detailing the August 5, 2023, Montgomery riverfront incident where a group of white boaters attacked a Black riverboat co-captain, resulting in a viral, community-led defense. The film, released in late 2025, covers the fight, the racial tensions, and the “white privilege” involved.
Please join us for an exclusive screening of the film on February 26, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM at the Centre Theater, 208 Dekalb Street, Norristown, PA.
