National Science Teaching Association Invites Applications for Excellence in Engineering Education Award
The annual National Science Teaching Association Awards and Recognition Program was created to raise awareness and exposure of the outstanding work being done in the education field.
In partnership with Northrop Grumman Foundation, NSTA is inviting applications to the Northrop Grumman Foundation Excellence in Engineering Education Award. Through the program, a cash prize of $3,000, $5,000 for the purchase of classroom materials and equipment, and $2,000 to attend the NSTA National Conference on Science Education will be awarded in support of an individual exhibiting excellence in the field of engineering science education.
To be eligible, applicants must be a Kâ12 public school science/technology teacher with a minimum of three years of teaching experience
