Changes, challenges and opportunities in the nonprofit sector have created new demands for volunteer managers. This workshop has been designed to assist participants in using best evidence to add value and credibility to their work and the work of their volunteers.
Key points include:
* Measuring quality in volunteerism
* Building an evidence base with limited resources
* Balancing experience with data
* Identifying barriers to change
* Using evidence to support recruitment and retention
