The Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians presents an evening of art, culture and networking featuring African multimedia artist, Kayode Malomo
When: Thursday, February 25th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Born July 4th, Kayode appeared on the National TV series, “Tales by Moonlight” and “The Problem Studio” as a child actor in Nigeria. At seventeen, he co-founded Malomsy Art Gallery, a graphic art and multi-media firm with his brother
Malomo has been commissioned to paint for dignitaries such as the President of Nigeria, Sierra-Leone, Mali and Philadelphia’s Mayor to name a few. He has also been featured in several National and International dailies and was recognized by the Philadelphia Museum of Art during its “African Art, African Voices” Art exhibit in a feature film titled “In their own voices”, an interwoven portrait of four African artists in Philadelphia. Kayode has also exhibited at the African American Museum of Art.
Kayode weaves themes that oscillate around a game play of light and shadow, expressing strong versatility in oil, airbrushing, collage and mixed media.
