The November election is fast approaching, and campuses across the country are preparing students to become informed, engaged participants in our democracy. How is your institution supporting voter education, civic participation, and meaningful dialogue across differences?

Join community-engaged professionals from throughout the Mid-Atlantic on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. (EST) for the first Transform Mid-Atlantic (TMA) Lunch & Learn Equity Conversation Series of the academic year: Voter Education and Engagement on Campus. Co-facilitated by Dr. Sarah Star, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Carroll Community College, and Dr. Shawntay Stocks, TMA Chief of Staff and Associate Director, this interactive conversation will provide an opportunity to share innovative voter engagement strategies, civic learning initiatives, dialogue programs, and lessons learned. Together, we’ll explore how higher education can empower students to exercise their civic agency, engage across differences, and make their voices heard this November.
