Is suburbia sustainable? Five Years Later! is the Second Friday video and discussion topic at Warminster Township’s administration building. Sponsored by the township’s Environmental Advisory Council, this video evening will revisit the topic asked nearly five years ago. Drawing on a special short version of the classic End of Suburbia and an edited version of Amory Lovins’ classic presentation on Natural Capitalism we’ll see where we are today, five years later. The original presentation filled the Pearl S. Buck room at the Doylestown Library on the day of the worst storm to hit Bucks County and dominated the local papers for weeks later. We’ll have the facilitator of that meeting and as many of the panelists as possible.
For information: 267.992.8020 or 215.443.5414. Due to the holiday, there will be no First Friday event at the Environmental Home Store in Doylestown.
